Welcome to the UAH Charger Energy Laboratory (CEL)

The UAH CEL is part of the UAH Rotorcraft Systems Engineering and Simulation Center (RSESC), and is involved in the research and development of sustainable energy systems and energy-related technologies.

Current Projects:

  • Development of Model-Based Systems Engineering tools for Energy Storage On-the-Grid
  • Creation of an Energy Storage On-the-Grid consortium and community
  • Research and evaluation of scalable storage-based systems-solutions for peak-shaving and load-leveling

Our Affiliations and How We Can Help:

Being an officially sanctioned laboratory within the University of Alabama System, the CEL has access to many professors, researchers, students, and facilities that provide very capable and cost-effective resources to our customers and partners. Our team has the science and engineering experience and ingenuity that comes from many years of supporting aerospace programs for NASA and the Department of Defense.
