Weekly sentinel testing will be coordinated through Guide SafeTM on UAH campus. Sentinel testing, which will target a randomized sample of the general campus population of faculty, staff and students (with a target of collecting no less than 2.5% of the sample), will be used to signal trends, identify outbreaks, and monitor the prevalence of COVID-19 on UAH campus. Testing Location Student Services Building 112. You will receive an email from email@example.com with details about scheduling your test. Walk-in testing is NOT available. Procedure: Prior to testing Individuals selected for testing will receive an email from firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a test. You must complete registration and schedule a test through the Verily scheduling portal prior to being tested. Students under 19 years of age must have parental consent to be tested. Have your parent complete the consent forms by clicking on this link: Parent Consent. What to bring A mask to wear in the building Your Account ID number assigned through the Verily scheduling portal Your driver’s license What to expect Face coverings are required to be worn while inside the Student Services Building Identifications will be verified. Testing conditions Do not go to the testing site if you have had any of the following: Close contact with a person who is known to be COVID positive within the past 14 days. Been tested for suspected COVID within the last 14 days. Been symptomatic with or without testing. Those who meet any of the criteria above should contact the UAH Faculty and Staff Clinic, Student Health Center or their primary care provider. Scheduling Tips To schedule sentinel tests on UAH campus, visit https://healthy.verily.com/. First, click “Create Your Account” or sign in if you have already created an account for re-entry testing. Enter your Charger ID email address, not your alias address (e.g. email@example.com, NOT Charger.Blue@uah.edu). Be sure to enter your name exactly as it appears on your government issued ID. These will need to match when you arrive for testing. After selecting an appointment time, make sure to record your Account ID or take a screenshot including your Account ID. This ID number is required when checking in to be tested. Do not expect to receive a confirmation email including your Account ID.
