A message from the president of UAH.

Dear Charger Community,

It is hard to believe, but we are already closing in on the end of the semester! I want to thank each of you for the ways in which you have responded during this challenging time. Your hard work and dedication have enabled us to achieve this important goal together.

This time marks a historic and challenging year as a University and one that I know has impacted each of you personally in many and various ways. I can’t tell you how proud I am to see the progress we have made and how far we have come since this same time last year. As evidenced by your accomplishments highlighted in our Annual Report, we have not only met these difficulties head-on, but have continued to thrive as well.

This has only been possible with your cooperation, help, and unparalleled commitment to excellence, both as individuals and the entire UAH community. I appreciate the tremendous efforts of our students, faculty, and staff. We have collectively demonstrated a remarkable ability to grow and achieve great things, even when operating with serious adversity.

This is an exciting time at UAH. Your commitment to adhering to the health and safety guidelines has allowed us to plan for a full return to in-person classes this fall. I want to encourage all our returning students to register for the fall semester, and I would like to invite the faculty and staff to encourage all our students to register for fall semester as well. We want to encourage you to get vaccinated, continue to wear masks, and practice appropriate social distancing so that we can all return safely.

Thanks to your perseverance and drive, I could not be more optimistic about what lies ahead. As we continue to push forward together, the future is looking very bright indeed.

Charge on!
