Fundamentals of Proposal Budget Preparation

Participants will gain a better understanding of the multi-faceted process that requires coordination between the PI, funding agencies, and the institutional staff and infrastructure that makes it all come together. This course demonstrates how to build a project budget using Kuali according to the federal, state and institutional regulations that govern sponsored funding.

Managing Grants.gov Workspace & NIH ASSIST

This course demonstrates how to use the NIH ASSIST and Grants.gov Workspace systems to initiate and prepare a proposal. This session gives participants an overview of the process including requirements for using the systems, how to initiate and prepare proposals, how to add optional forms, how to preview applications, and how to validate applications.

Managing NSF Research.gov

This course demonstrates how to use the NSF Research.gov system to initiate and prepare a proposal. Research.gov provides grants management for the research community. It will become the replacement for FastLane, providing quick access to research information and grants management services, all in one location.
