Apr 16, 2020 | Jacob Morgan nursing Jacob Morgan I started and earned a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. I can without a doubt say it was the most rewarding four years of education I could have asked for. It pushed me every step of the way, but at no point did I feel alone. Dr. Reynolds, Mrs. Mann, and Dr. Patterson (just to name a few) repeatedly lent a hand when I needed, and kept me focused on the goal, which was developing knowledge and skills necessary to care for patients in a variety of clinical settings. The clinical portion of my nursing education was very taxing at times, but always rewarding. I felt like I left each day with something that would help me later on in my career. The academic side of my education was definitely challenging, but as mentioned above, at no point did I feel left alone. Their efforts to point me in the right direction, and attempts to facilitate group studying/learning, turned out to be the defining key to success during my time at UAH. I had to push myself in each class, but that led me to be a more competent nurse coming out of college. I would highly recommend this program to any individual who is seeking a place to help develop them into a strong and competent nurse.
