OLLI at UAH Fall 2023 Registration Confirmation

When selecting courses, the fee for each one will be added to the cart.

A transaction confirmation will be emailed to you and include your schedule of courses. If your course is live virtual or online, a Zoom link will also be included. Please keep up with the Zoom links for each one of your courses.

Location

Your classroom location may change. Check the posted schedule in the Wilson Hall lobby during the first week of the semester. A campus map is located on our website at Osher.uah.edu/CampusMap.

Parking

An OLLI Commuter Parking Permit is included with your membership. Don't forget to hang your OLLI Commuter Parking Permit on your vehicle's rear-view mirror.

OLLI members can park at Commuter parking zones only. If you have a Disability Access placard and would like to receive one for on campus parking, please contact our office for more details at 256.824.6183.

To obtain a NEW 2023-2024 Commuter Parking Permit, completion of an OLLI Permit Application will be required BEFORE a parking permit is issued. Application requires vehicle year, make, color, type & license plate number and driver's license number & state of issue. You may complete and print the form at Osher.uah.edu/OLLIParkingPermit and bring it with you to obtain your permit.

Parking permits must be validated in the Noncredit Registration Office, Wilson Hall 103, at the start of each semester.

Google Classroom

This additional resource will be used by instructors to share handouts and resources with you throughout the term. We will send you an invitation to join the Google Classroom one week prior to the start date of your course. If we do not have your Gmail address on file, please send it to OLLI.info@uah.edu. Please refer to the course guide at Osher.uah.edu/CourseGuide for instructions on how to use Zoom, Google Classroom and complimentary training sessions.

Add Courses

To add a course, log in to your client portal at Osher.uah.edu/OLLIRegistration and follow the registration steps, or call the Noncredit Registration Office at 256.824.6010 M-F from 9:00 am to noon.

Please Note

Cancellation: Members will be notified at least four working days in advance if a course is cancelled.

Waiting list: If a course you requested is NOT listed, you have been added to the waiting list. Should a spot become available, you will be contacted. Please note: Drop-in attendance or sharing a Zoom invitation is not permitted — one attendee per registration.

Withdrawal policy: No refunds will be issued for course withdrawals. If you can no longer participate, please notify the Noncredit Registration Office to drop a course to allow wait-listed registrants to join.

Membership badge

If you purchased an OLLI membership, your membership badge and additional information about the OLLI program will be mailed two to three weeks after membership is received. Keep your membership badge to use until expiration. If you will be attending any OLLI-affiliated in-person courses, events, bonuses, etc., please wear your badge.

Permissions

OLLI at UAH is not responsible for any damage or personal injury sustained when a member is participating in any OLLI sponsored activities. Membership implies permission to use your photo or Zoom video recording for OLLI publicity. If you do not want your photo used, please notify the instructor/photographer in advance.
