Continuing the discussion of market reports, you'll need to begin conducting industry surveys to see what arenas will most broadly effect your idea or product going forward. We'll take a look at the best places to get this data, as well as how to identify and apply identifiers such as NAICS or SIC codes to really gain an edge on the competition. Business research requires the proper tools. Whether you're developing a new product, starting a new company, or gauging the state of an industry, you will need to gather data from a variety of sources to paint a complete picture and keep your decisions in context. Michael Manasco three classes will look at many of these tools available at UAH and as free resources online, to better help you understand marketing, industry, and company data. There are three workshops in this series: Finding and Using Marketing Data Getting a Grip on Industry Data The Ins and Outs of Company Data You can attend one or more of these classes.
