[NOTE: This is an archived event and is kept here for informational purposes so you can see information about past events and have an idea of what future events might be held. For those interested in current and upcoming events, see our Upcoming Library Events page.] March 19, 2015. 5:30pm - 6:15pm. Salmon Library 111. What can Alumni Access at the UAH Salmon Library get you? Quite a bit. You get access to our computers and, through them, our databases. You can study or use our space to read. You can get reference and research help and browse our archives. You can even check out books! How much does it cost? Absolutely nothing. In this talk, Doug Bolden will go into the particulars about what you need to do to get access, and some of the things you can do with it: research, finding materials, and getting books to read. He will discuss some tricks to make your use of library resources more easy-flowing, and will answer questions you have about any library topic. There will also be an optional tour for those that have not been in the Salmon Library for some time. Note: if you are an alumni but do not have your Alumni Association Card (which is now free), contact the UAH Alumni association at http://www.uah.edu/alumni. This talk is open to all! It is aimed at UAH alumni and people who will soon be graduating. Anyone with questions can feel free to contact Doug Bolden at firstname.lastname@example.org. This talk is part of our Spring 2015 Refined Researcher series. For other talks in the series, see this flyer: These, and other upcoming events, can be seen at our "Upcoming Library Events" page.
