Sylvia Cortés and Maleah Taylor's two person exhibition Sufrimos opens our exhibition season at the new CAHS Lowe Mill A&E Project Space. Cortés's paintings and Taylor's photographic works explore identity and emotional experience. The title of the exhibition, Sufrimos, can be translated as "to suffer" or "to bear." The imagery conveys the complexity of deep sadness, and the strength required to carry on. The works are intimate gestures of beauty.

The show opens on Saturday, June 3rd with a reception from 5-7 as part of Lowe Mill A&E Open Studio Night.
