Join the UAH Humanities Center for a free public lecture by Dr. Céline Leboeuf, Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy at Florida International University. 

Dr. Leboeuf's research on embodiment lies at the intersection of the philosophy of race, feminist philosophy, and phenomenology. Her recent publications include “Bodily Alienation and Critical Phenomenologies of Race,” “What Is Body Positivity? The Path from Shame to Pride,” and “Fearing the Future: Is Life Worth Living in the Anthropocene?” She is currently working on a book on the body positivity movement.
