Dani Holdemen's abstract paintings explore color, form and all things shiny and sparkly. Inspired by colors from Disney attractions and the child-like feelings of joy they inspired, she works intuitively.  Using layers of paint, acrylic mediums, and painter’s tape, she creates intersecting and overlapped fields of color and texture. The paintings that emerge from her process are playful, engaging in the pleasure of form and color.
