How can your small business effectively sell to Government Purchase Cardholders without a GSA schedule or other contract? And how do Government Purchase Cardholders find your local small business in the sea of businesses using e-commerce to sell their products and services?

During COVID, the Air Force became aware of the plummeting sales experienced by businesses just outside the gates of their bases as the virus kept people away. The NDVSB/AAFES eMarketplace was adopted for local small businesses to host their catalogs, receive orders, transmit shipment information, and charge GPCs. Now in adoption by the Army, the eMarketplace allows Government PCard holders to easily find small businesses for purchases that fall under the micro-purchase threshold, and also allows small businesses to streamline their business processes when selling those products and services. Additional Government organizations and agencies will adopt the use of the eMarketplace in the future.

Part of the National Diversity Veteran Small Business Program, the NDVSB/AAFES eMarketplace is available for participation to all businesses registered in SAM.gov who are qualified as “small” by the SBA.
