What you don't know may kill you!*

A Totally Serious talk looking at the "science", folklore, and complete guesswork required to survive ghosts, vampires, bigfeet, aliens, giant spiders, not so giant spiders but like...there's a lot of them, that thing with grandma's face hiding out in the well, vhs tapes you found in an old box in the attic, shades of magenta that are also technically aliens, yellow hallways full of youtubers making mockumentaries, stubbing your toe, curses, and more.

Also, there will be Halloween candy. Maybe glowsticks. Costumes 100% optional.**

* Disclaimer: Being the horror genre, what you *do* know may also kill you. The presenters take no responsibility for mishaps involving forbidden knowledge, lament configurations, ancient texts, forgotten cities, or The Stuff(tm).

** but they would be awesome
