Rescheduled! On Friday, October 21, 2022 from 11:30am - 12:30pm, Fellowship and Graduate School Advisor Jennifer Staton will host an information session about the Truman Scholarship. The Truman Scholarship is a prestigious graduate fellowship that provides financial assistance to students showing exceptional promise as future public service leaders. Funded by the Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation, this scholarship provides $30,000 to future "change agents," or advocates, who aim to improve ways in which our government, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations can serve the public.

Eligible applicants are college juniors interested in obtaining a Masters or doctorate degree in such areas as: Public Administration, Public Health, Social Work, Education, Public Policy, International Affairs, or a law degree. During this info session, Jennifer will discuss eligibility requirements, application components, and the application timeline.

This information session is ideal for students who are interested in applying this year (must be a third-year student) or next application cycle (23-24). Eligibility is limited to U.S. citizens. If you can't attend, email Jennifer at statonj@uah.edu for more info.
