Offered through Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at UAH

This new course combines the ‘Intro to Tai Chi’ and ‘Intermediate Tai Chi’ classes previously offered at OLLI. Tai Chi is a low impact exercise made up of slow, gentle movements to improve balance, coordination, and lower-body strength. Tai Chi also combines movement with mindfulness to initially enhance concentration and later induce meditation through relaxation. This course will guide you through the complete simplified Yang-style 24-form. This course is intended for individuals new to Tai Chi, or previous students who completed the Intro class but have not taken or completed the Intermediate class. Tai Chi is appropriate for all individuals capable of standing independently.

Friday (8 sessions) | Cost: $35 | Instructor: J Pang | In-Person, UAH Campus
