Offered through Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at UAH

The United States – and indeed the world – is beset by seemingly intractable and mounting difficulties. Humanity is plagued by international and national conflicts, animosities, and prejudices. Examined critically, the primary underlying cause of the issues we face is how we view and judge each other, and therein lies the solution– do we see one another with the eye of unity, truth, justice, and forbearance, or do we discriminate and continue to be strangers based on traditional values that no longer serve the best interests of humanity? This course uses science and faith as two disciplines and lenses through which this topic can be explored.
