We are recruiting students with an interest in joining the US Intelligence Community.  Students enrolled as an IC CAE Scholar at the University of Alabama in Huntsville have extensive opportunities for professional networking within the 18 federal agencies that comprise the IC.  There are many specialized opportunities for training and experiential learning to prepare you for acareer in critical technologies of artificial intelligence, machine learning, data visualization, modeling and simulation, algorithm design, engineering, cybersecurity and analytic writing and briefing.

Benefits of Enrollment as an IC CAE Scholar:
  • Preparation for a career in the Intelligence Community (IC) through training and interactions with members of the IC
  • Participation in IC CAE events such as workshops, symposiums, and site visits to national laboratories, agencies, and industry
  • Opportunities to participate in two week intensive intelligence career training in Washington DC
  • Assistance in writing a resume and developing interview skills targeted for pursuing internship and employment opportunities with intelligence agencies
  • Eligibility for federal internships specifically designated for IC CAE program participants
  • Access to the IC CAE research laboratory and possibility of paid research assistance
  • Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in a STEM degree program
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • US Citizen, eligible for a security clearance
