We will be helping United Way of Madison County prepare for the national Jumpstart Read for the Record event. Our work will include packing kits to be distributed to schools across the region. We will be volunteering on Friday, October 25th from 9:30 AM to 2 PM at First Baptist Church Huntsville. Individual students and entire families are encouraged to take part in this event by registering using this form!

Jumpstart’s Read for the Record brings together millions of people each year in classrooms, libraries, community centers, and homes across the US. This annual campaign was launched over a decade ago to highlight the importance of building early literacy and language skills for EVERY child, so that all children have the opportunity to enter kindergarten prepared to succeed.
