In September, you’ll visit Ireland, Republic of the Gambia, Peru, Australia, Poland, Indonesia, and many more distant lands when the International Society of Huntsville, UAH, and countless community volunteers bring a popular event—endorsed by the Alabama Bicentennial Committee—back to the Tennessee Valley: the TENTH ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF NORTH ALABAMA (iFest)!

iFest 2019 takes place from 9:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, 21 September in the Basketball Courts, Gym, Parking Area, and Grounds of the University Fitness Center (UFC), 500 John Wright Drive, NW @ Holmes Avenue, NW on the UAH campus, due east of Jordan Lane. It’s is a one-day, family-friendly spectacular―Open to the Public, with NO Admission or Parking Charges—and the only such opportunity within a two-hour travel radius!

First-time iFest performers include Julia Meisner (Estonian folk dance), and singer/songwriter Clair Carpenter. Returning festival favorites include the Philippine-American Dancers of Alabama, Mission Dance Academy, Fitness Arts Center Irish Step Dancers, the UAH Indian Student Organization (ISO), and the Dance Theatre of Huntsville. In addition to vocal, instrumental, and dance performances, watch for Anyaberry’s Theatre of Fashion and Karate Demos!

Food Truck offerings will include Café on Wheels—Neon Lilly (Eastern European); The Cuban Café — new to iFest!; Hildegard’s German Wurst Wagon; New South Hotdogs — new to iFest!; Pearl Asian Cuisine; and more.
