Salmon Library

First Floor, Central

April 20. 12:30pm to 5:30pm. Library First Floor (near the coffee shop).

[Note: In order to avoid conflicting with ChargerCon, we have moved the date of this event. This has also prompted a slight change in the demo'd games.]

Rounding out our last tabletop event for this semester, April 20* will see some old favorites (such as Button Men) and new titles (such as Dixit and Tokaido) come together in a fun afternoon of games, snacks, and game design. Have a boardgame you like to run? Bring it along! Classics? New games? Stuff you want to playtest? Are you into roleplaying games or collectible card games? Bring those along, too. We've had successful runs of both of these things in the past with people who have played lots and people who want to learn more. At least one game, currently titled The. Heroes. Trek. will be playtested there (think, experimental, lite-RPG...in this case, about building a collective map) and everyone who plays at the event will receive a playtest credit (the person running this will be Doug Bolden, one of the librarians behind the event as a whole and one who has ran various short RPG demos at previous events). There will be a selection of games to pick up and play, and snacks, and space to play a number of tables worth of games.
