Join OLLI at UAH in a special anniversary celebration, Twenty-five Years of Lifelong Learning at UAH!

Peter Baldaia, Director of Curatorial Affairs at the Huntsville Museum of Art will be the second speaker in the series.

A celebration of beauty, Louis Comfort Tiffany: Treasures from the Driehaus Collection, features more than 60 objects, spanning over 30 years of Tiffany's prolific career. One of America's most renowned artists, Tiffany worked in nearly all the media available to artists and designers in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries — glass, ceramic, metalwork, jewelry, and painting. The collection is one of the country's most important private collections of works by an American decorative designer. Peter Baldaia will explain the intricacies behind the scenes of planning, organizing, and executing this blockbuster exhibition, on view from October 21, 2018 through January 13, 2019.

Having over 35 years museum experience, Mr. Baldaia has worked for the Huntsville Museum of Art since 1994. He was the former Curator of Exhibitions and Collections at the Rockford Art Museum in Illinois, and Curator at the Fuller Museum of Art in Brockton, Mass. Mr. Baldaia holds a B.F.A. from Rhode Island College and a master's degree in Art History and Museum Studies from Boston University Graduate School.

Please join us in this anniversary speaker series which is free and open to the public.  For more information visit Osher.uah.edu/25.
