In this workshop (part of our free In Media Res series of Multimedia Workshops), Doug Bolden will show the basics of using Audacity to edit longer audio recordings typical of podcasting (though other uses are of course available). Reducing noise, getting rid of dead air, fixing previously recorded material, and looping in background music will be a few of the demos he will give. Feel free to come and ask questions and follow along. Open to all students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
