We will discuss some nonlinear research problems in linear algebra including their background and development. They include Aluthge iteration, Marcus-de Oliveira Conjecture, and singular values and diagonal elements of a square matrix. Refreshments will be served at 1:00p.m. in SST 201 suite landing.
