Professor Van Norden is a leading international scholar of Chinese philosophy. His seventh public lecture at UAH, Basics of Buddhist Philosophy, introduces Indian Buddhist philosophy, and in particular its teaching that we can escape suffering by recognizing the truth of “no self.” This event is free and open to anyone.
