Excel formulas and functions are useful in all types of spreadsheet applications. They are essential to manipulating data and obtaining useful information. This course will expand your understanding and use of Excel by focusing on the techniques to build useful worksheet formulas and enhance spreadsheet functionality. Learn to create formulas, and import, export, and validate data, plus more. Understand how to maintain your original data, audit your formulas for correctness, and adjust values to be able to calculate how to reach outcome goals.

Topics Include:

  • Operators
  • How to use built-in Excel functions
  • Subtotal Function
  • Relative, Absolute, and Mixed Cell References, Formulas with Tables
  • Named Cells and Ranges
  • Mathematical functions
  • Using logical functions to create conditional results, including IF statements
  • Using powerful lookup functions, such as VLOOKUP
  • Troubleshooting Formulas and Functions

Prerequisite: Intermediate-level Excel users familiar with general concepts of Excel features.
