OLLI at UAH Course - Tai Chi for the Non-Beginner Conference/Lecture Monday, September 19, 2022- November 7, 2022 The event started -371 days agoMultiday event - 49 days 8:30 AM10:00 AM Wilson Hall Offered through Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at UAH Continue your practice of Yang-style Tai Chi with this course for those who have taken the OLLI ‘Intro to Tai Chi’ and ‘Intermediate Tai Chi’ classes or practitioners familiar with the Yang-style 24-form and want a refresher. Review the Yang-10 and Yang-24 movements emphasizing the proper form of each posture. The entire form will be performed repeatedly to reinforce muscle memory and to extend the duration of moving meditation. The course goal will be to independently perform the complete Yang-10 and 24-forms, individually or in a group setting. Tai Chi is appropriate for all who are capable of standing independently.
