On Friday, September 10, 2021 in Morton Hall 126, Fellowship Advisor Jennifer Staton will talk about the Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Foundation. The Goldwater Scholarship Program, one of the oldest and most prestigious national scholarships in the natural sciences, engineering, and mathematics in the United States, seeks to identify and support college sophomores and juniors who show exceptional promise of becoming this Nation’s next generation of research leaders in these fields. Jennifer will discuss the basic application and eligibility requirements for the Goldwater, along with advice on how to prepare for the application itself.

This info session is ideal for STEM and Psychology/Social Sciences freshmen and sophomores. Students can apply only as sophomores and juniors and must be U.S. citizens.

If you are unable to attend or want to attend via Zoom, contact Jennifer at statonj@uah.edu for the slides or the Zoom link and passcode.
