Auditions for DIDO AND AENEAS (Opera) Misc, Arts & Entertainment, Conference/Lecture Thursday, August 26, 2021 The event started -353 days agoMultiday event - 0 days 7:00 PM Morton Hall Black Box Theatre Auditions Dido and Aeneas (opera) Everyone is welcomed to audition August 26, 7:00 pm in the Morton Hall Black Box NEEDED: Singers and dancers Singers for principal roles and chorus Dancers for the chorus If you are auditioning for a principal role, please prepare an English aria or song (baroque period preferred) If you are auditioning for the chorus, you are encouraged to bring a song to sing. Be prepared for additional vocalization. All singers need to bring their own sheet music for the accompanist. Wear/bring clothes to move, you will learn a short dance routine to assess skills. Important: Rehearsals will be Tuesdays, Thursdays, 7-10 pm and Sunday 2-5 pm Show Dates: November 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20 at 7:30 PM. Show Sunday 2:30 pm.
