Join us for a virtual lecture, delivered by Dr. Timothy Askew, entitled “Good Trouble: An Analysis of the History and Cultural Significance of the famous song, ‘Lift Every Voice and Sing.’” Regarded by many as the Black National Anthem, Dr. Askew will discuss the diverse and inclusive aspects of this historical song.
