It's time for a General Meeting! If you are new to Space Hardware and/or haven't joined a project yet, it's not too late to get involved! Team leads will give overviews of our projects, ranging from bi-propellant liquid rocket engines to autonomous rovers to solar-electric perpetual flight airplanes (and everything in between!), so join us at 8 PM to learn more about these opportunities!

Space Hardware Club will be having midterm elections for the positions of Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary at the October 15th general meeting. Here's a list of the positions and their responsibilities:
President:
- Represent SHC and serve as a liaison to the university, local industry, and the aerospace community
- Coordinate grant writing efforts
- Plan and run General Meetings and other large events
Vice Presidents:
- Run officer board meetings
- Manage the space@uah.edu email account and access to documents
- Fill in when the president is unavailable
- Serve as a point of contact to resolve disputes
- Act as top-level lab managers
Secretaries:
- Take meeting minutes (notes), including attendance
- Administer elections and voting
- Help with grants, reports, and other large writing projects
- Maintain membership rosters and org charts
Treasurers:
- Investigate and understand the MAE Department's ordering process as it changes over time
- Help team leads place orders by providing org numbers, correcting errors, etc.
- Track expenditures and account balances
Ensure club operations are compliant with the policies of the University and our funding sources
