“Getting Under the Hood: How and For Whom Does Increasing Class Structure Work?”

In an article in CBE – Life Sciences Education, Dr. Kelly Hogan, UNC-Chapel Hill, shares effects on increasing structure in the class on her biology exam scores on the class as a whole and on subpopulations. Come join in a discussion of these results and how they might be applied to your class. Click here for a link to the paper that will be discussed. Bagels will be available at 8:15 am.
