Unless the Democrats and Republicans can reach an agreement in the near future, you should expect a government shutdown beginning November 22, 2019.

Unlike the thirty-five day shutdown last December–January, this time, the shutdown is likely to include DOD.

The purpose of this November 14, 2019 presentation by Jerry Gabig and Rich Raleigh of Wilmer & Lee is to assist small businesses:

  • Gain knowledge on the fundamentals of a government shutdown.
  • Better protect the company by knowing which FAR contract clauses are likely to come into play.
  • Learn how to posture the company for equitable adjustments.
  • Navigate through difficult labor problems.
