Explorations: Works by Kala Clontz

Tuesday, October 22, 2019- November 12, 2019 Multiday event - 22 days

Wilson Hall

Gallery

Graduating senior Kala Clontz's paintings are visual reflections on her travels with varying degrees of abstraction.  Loosely based on her photographs, she pulls details, colors and a sense of place from the images, and reconfigures them using the language of paint.  Memory, the qualities of the materials, the sense of light and color combine to create pieces that are both expressive and a pleasure for the eye.

Please join us for the reception on Thursday, November 7th, from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm.

Exhibit and reception free and open to the public.
