Then some aspects of non-Archimedean operator theory on the space c_0 will be discussed. Descriptions of compact operators and operators that admit an adjoint on c_0 will be presented. Finally, the open problem of the existence of a spectral decomposition for compact self-adjoint operators on c_0 will be discussed.
