Thursday, March 14, 2019- March 29, 2019 Multiday event - 16 days

Gallery

Graduating BFA student Chan Morton’s work evaluates the connection between metaphor and memento. The merger of symbols and abstraction makes way for the subtle and potential realizations which ignite the context of the paintings on display. Mesh, resin and other components are employed as a symbolic and practical system to remind the painter of her creative process. “Style,” says Chan, “is putting things in where you can find them.”

Please join us for the artist talk and reception on Thursday, March 28th, from 4:30pm - 6:30pm in the UAH Wilson Hall Gallery.

Free and open to the public.

Gallery hours are: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
