Jeffrey W. Elam, Chemist and Group Leader of the Energy Systems Division at Argonne National Laboratory, will be the guest speaker for a public talk at The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) on Wednesday, Nov. 9.

Elam will give the presentation "Synthesis, Characterization, and Applications of Nanocomposite Coatings with Tunable Properties Prepared by Atomic Layer Deposition," at 10 a.m., in the Engineering Building room 135. The talk is free and open to the public. His visit to the university is sponsored by the UAH Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering.
