Google Chrome Mozilla Firefox 7-Zip Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Bomgar Jump Client Duo Authentication for Windows Logon x64 Image Mate (ELMO) Java Update McAfee Virus Protection Microsoft Edge Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2019 Panopto (64 bit) SMART Learning Suite 16.2 VLC Media Player Wacom Tablet Properties Zoom Classroom Tech in ETLC does not install any additional software unless a new program is needed to manage the technology. There are additional software and applications available at UAH from the Software Center on the computer and from Chargerware. For security and legal purposes, all other software installed on classroom machines must be approved. You can see which softwares are already approved and learn more about the software evaluation process on our External Tools page. Our classroom installs come in two categories - Basic & Enhanced. Learn more about the differences in these types of classrooms below. You may refer to Astra to find a classroom on campus that will meet your needs. Basic Technology Classrooms - Our Basic classrooms provide a clean and spacious learning environment featuring lecturing space at the front of the room, a lectern/podium or ADA desk, tables or desks for students, and whiteboards. Most rooms will include a computer system along with a projector for presentations. ELMO document cameras, webcams, and Blu Ray players may be available by request. Enhanced Technology Classrooms - Our Enhanced classrooms have all the same lecture features as our Basic classrooms, plus audio/visual systems to assist in lecture capture so professors may record their classes for distance learning. Audio systems include microphones and speakers for recording and playback. Video systems include cameras for recording and video conferencing. These classrooms also feature Wacom monitors that act as writing tablets for easy annotation. This can also be shared to the projector in real time so that students can follow along with formulas, and can be recorded so these notes will be preserved for future reference/online learning. Many classrooms also come with a secondary monitor that allows professors to view their Zoom students or answer keys on one monitor while still sharing their primary screen. Students in class can easily follow along with notes projected on a large screen at the front of the classroom.
