The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODEI) is supporting a UAH faculty research project designed to develop a diversity training responsiveness scale. We are inviting all UAH faculty and staff to complete the survey found at the link below.  

Title of Study: Transcending Diversity in the Workplace: Developing a Diversity Responsive Scale to Determine Diversity Training Readiness of Employees

Purpose of Study: To examine the attitudes, characteristics and motivations of individuals which lead to participation in diversity training.  More specifically, this study is designed to develop a survey instrument to predict the effectiveness and outcomes associated with diversity training for individuals.

Anonymity & Confidentiality: Your responses will be anonymous and no identifying information will be collected. Participation in this research study is completely voluntary. No risks are foreseen and you may withdraw at any time without penalty. 

How to Participate: This survey will take approximately 15 to 20 minutes to complete. You will be asked questions regarding your work environment, including questions regarding your supervisor, the organization's climate, and basic demographic information.

iPad/Prize Drawing:  At the completion of this survey you will be redirected to a second survey where you can enter your contact information to be entered into a drawing for an iPad. Your contact information will not be linked to the first survey and is being collected only to enter you into the drawing.
