The Event Scheduling Office is excited to host your event and our facilities are open for reservations from recognized student groups, UAH administrative or academic departments, as well as off campus groups. With numerous unique event and meeting spaces, offering rooms perfect for small gatherings and spaces for larger events able to accommodate up to 400 people, it's easy to find the right space for your needs. Most of our rooms are flexible and can be set up in banquet, theatre, or classroom style to best suit your needs.

Reservations for events and meetings in Charger Union (CGU), the CTC Exhibit Hall, or Chan Auditorium must be made three business days in advance utilizing the following options:

  • Online: You can reserve space online using Astra.
  • Phone: You can reserve space by calling Charger Events, at 256.824.3625.
  • Email: You can also reserve space by emailing us at
  • In Person: Visit the Event Services and Production in the Charger Union Administrative Office Suite 202, during our office hours 8:15 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Appointments preferred.

Events held other than the Conference Training Center or Charger Union must be reserved through the Conference and Events Department. If your event is outdoors, you must fill out an outdoor event request form available through Juanita Owen, Associate Director of Conferences and Events 256.824.7776, or through email at

Registered Student Organization Priority Scheduling

Priority scheduling for fall semester will take place from April 1 to April 30, for spring semester from October 1 to October 31, and summer semester from February 1 to February 28.

To schedule a Registered Student Organization event, use the Special Events Reservation Request form or the Recurring Reservation Request form.

Audio Visual

Most rooms in the Charger Union and Conference Training Center come equipped with installed Audio Visual (AV) equipment. Any requests for Audio Visual (AV) services must be completed through the Audio Visual Request Form.  Please ensure you are familiar with any fees that may apply.

Event Staff

UAH's own Event Planning team is ready to assist you in planning your next event. From food to audio visual and more, the Event Scheduling Administrator strives to make every event held on campus outstanding. Furthermore, our Event Production and Student Staff will be available the day of the event to address any last minute needs or final details. We look forward to seeing you and your guests on campus!
