This summer OLLI at UAH brings many new opportunities to keep you intellectually and socially active! Take a variety of courses, engage in fun events, and socialize with fellow members. All summer courses will be offered online via Zoom, but some courses will also be available on campus! We look forward to seeing you both online and in-person!

Summer Program Registration Confirmation

A transaction confirmation will be emailed to you and include your schedule of classes.


Zoom is the videoconferencing software to be used for all courses. A Zoom link/meeting ID will be sent to you one week prior to the start date of your course from the email. If you do not receive the invitation, please contact the CPS staff at or 256.824.6183 M-F from 9 am to 4 pm. Please keep up with the Zoom links for each one of your courses.

google Classroom

We will also implement the use of Google Classroom as the only channel to share handouts, presentation and recordings. This is an additional resource to be used outside of online LIVE courses on Zoom. If your instructors will use this additional resource, we will send you an invitation to join the Google Classroom one week prior to the start date of your course. If we do not have your Gmail address on file, please send it to Please refer to the OLLI Summer Program course guide at for instructions on how to use Zoom, Google Classroom and complimentary training sessions.

Parking Permit Pickup Day

July 12 • 10 am - noon
Members who are taking on-campus courses are encouraged to pick up parking permits during the Parking Permit Pickup Day event. Applications are available online at The application requires vehicle year, make, color and type; driver’s license number, “state of issue,” and license plate number. Please bring this application to receive your commuter parking permit for summer on-campus courses. If you are unable to pick up your permit during this time, please visit the CPS Registration Office after July 12th.

Guidelines for Handicap Parking

Members who have a state DMV-issued Disability Access hang tag or license plate, please visit the Parking Management Office to have it validated. The office location has changed, and it is now located in CTC 147.

Please bring the following items:

  • Disability Access Placard
  • Driver’s License
  • Copy of the DMV-issued Disability Access paperwork

Please Note

Art Kit Pick Up: Pick up will be available starting on June 16th. Please contact the CPS staff at or at 256.824.6183 to set up a pick up time.

Cancellation: Members will be notified at least four working days in advance if a course is cancelled due to low enrollment.

Waiting list: If a course you requested is NOT listed, you have been added to the waiting list. Should a spot become available, you will be contacted. Please note: sharing a Zoom invitation for a course with other individuals is not permitted.

Withdrawal policy: No refunds will be issued for OLLI Summer Program course withdrawals. If you can no longer participate, please notify the CPS Registration Office to drop a course to allow wait-listed registrants to join. Members will be notified at least four business days in advance if a course has been cancelled.

To add a course, log in to your client portal at and follow the registration steps, or call the College of Professional Studies (CPS) Registration office at 256.824.6010 M-F from 9:00 am to noon and 1:00 to 4:00pm.

Membership badge

If you purchased an OLLI membership, your membership badge and additional information about the OLLI program will be mailed two to three weeks after membership is received. Keep your membership badge to use until expiration. If you will be attending any in-person courses, please wear your badge while on campus.


OLLI at UAH is not responsible for any damage or personal injury sustained when a member is participating in any OLLI sponsored activities. Membership implies permission to use your photo or Zoom video recording for OLLI publicity. If you do not want your photo used, please notify the instructor/photographer in advance.
