Brittany Holland, M. Ed., LPC, NCC Counselor, UAH Counseling Center Biography Brittany is a National Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Alabama. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Southeastern Louisiana University as well as her Masters of Education degree in Counselor Education with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy. She completed her Masters level internship at the University Counseling Center where she found a passion for working with students. She began working as a counselor at The University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2009. In addition, she has served in the role as the Counseling Center’s outreach coordinator since 2013 and was promoted to assistant director in 2015. She has significant clinical experience working with a variety of presenting concerns within a diverse population. Her focus is on helping students utilize and enhance their strengths to help them succeed both personally and academically to ultimately achieve a successful professional career in their chosen field. She is a member of the Alabama Counseling Association (ALCA), American College Counseling Association (ALCCA), Alabama Mental Health Counselors Association (ALMHCA) and The Association for University and College Counseling Center Outreach (AUCCCO).
