The UAH Pathways Program is a joint admission program between UAH and Alabama community colleges, including Calhoun Community College, Northeast Alabama Community College, Snead State Community College, Wallace State Community College, and J.F. Drake State Community and Technical College. The purpose of the program is to create an opportunity for students to be enrolled at their community college and UAH simultaneously in order to complete their associate’s degree and begin coursework at UAH at the same time. The ultimate goal is for students to have a smooth transition to UAH and be in sync with their program of study. Program Benefits Students will receive a UAH tuition scholarship. This scholarship will result in students paying tuition for UAH courses equivalent to the tuition at their home community college for each three credit hour course. Students will receive a UAH Charger Card allowing them to attend UAH events, participate in student organizations, and utilize campus resources, such as the Library and Student Success Center. Program Requirements Students must be currently enrolled and pursuing their first associate's degree at Calhoun Community College, Northeast Alabama Community College, Snead State Community College, Wallace State Community College, or J.F. Drake State Community and Technical College. Students previously enrolled at UAH and high school students enrolled in dual enrollment programs at participating community colleges are not eligible to participate. Students must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA in college coursework. Students may enroll in up to 12 hours of UAH coursework while participating in the Pathways Program.
