Enhanced Teaching and Learning (ETL) is committed to providing instructional support both inside and outside of the classroom. Below is a summary of the instructional technology support available and how to obtain it.

In the Classroom:

  • For immediate classroom support, please call 256-513-7492. Immediate support is available campus-wide, weekdays from 7:30 am until 7:30 pm. Feel free to save this number in your cell phone’s contacts list!
  • When immediate support is not required, for example, to report broken furniture, missing whiteboard erasers, a slow-running PC, or other classroom problems, please enter a Help Desk ticket with the location and details of the issue. For your convenience, a link to the ticket entry form has been placed on the PC desktop in all general-purpose classrooms. To enter a ticket, double click on the “Help Button” icon on the desktop, and then select the “Submit a Help Desk Ticket” link. Alternatively, you may email the location and details of the issue to helpdesk@uah.edu.

Outside of the Classroom

  • If you have issues logging into a Single-Sign-On (SSO) account with your ChargerID, email helpdesk@uah.edu or call 256-824-3333.
  • For assistance with Canvas, help is available 24/7 for all faculty and students within Canvas by clicking the “Help” icon or by calling 833-519-8478 (faculty support) or 844-219-5802 (student support).
  • For assistance with Panopto, help is available 24/7 for all faculty and students. To contact Panopto Support during business hours (weekdays from 7 am to 7 pm), call 855-726-6786, extension 443. After hours and weekends, call 855-765-2341. For non-urgent Panopto support, you may email support@panopto.com. Please be sure to send your request from your UAH email address.
  • For assistance with Turnitin, TurningPoint Clickers, Qualtrics, Respondus, or Zoom, email helpdesk@uah.edu.
