January 18, 2022 The Regional Autism Network also known as RAN is a state-funded grant by the Alabama Department of Mental Health. We are Region 1 and we help 13 counties in Northern Alabama. Anyone can use the RAN - staff, faculty, students, parents, caregivers, etc. and it does not just have to be related to ASD. It can be other related disorders or simply if someone is dealing with some anxiety or depression they can come to us and we can give them resources to help. We have an email list and we encourage people to sign up for it. We send out monthly newsletters and information about mental health/ASD.
