The once-a-year United Way fundraising campaign to support 27 local community agencies will be in full drive beginning this week.
The United Way campaign officially kicks off with a meeting for coordinators on Monday, November 4, at 12 p.m., in the Shelby Center for Science and Technology room 301.
United Way is the leading community organization to make a positive change in the lives of people with need. United Way advances the common good by creating opportunities for all. The agency’s focus is on education, health, and financial stability – the building blocks for a good quality of life and a strong community. UAH is the leading educational institution in Huntsville and Madison County with more than $50,000 being raised for people with real needs in our area.
