Dear Commuter Students, Faculty and Staff:

Record enrollment growth for a fifth consecutive year, as well as faster-than-expected growth for the technology business incubator, the Innovation to Invention Center (I²C), will result in some changes in zone parking for Lot G-5.

Effective at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, October 14th, the Faculty/Staff Only Zone and the Commuter + Faculty/Staff Zone in the G-5 parking lot will be adjusted. The affected zones inside the G-5 lot are in front of the College of Business building, the I²C, and Wilson Hall.

The Commuter + Faculty/Staff zone located in the central portion of that lot will be rezoned for Commuters ONLY.

The Faculty Staff ONLY zone located at the far south of the lot will be expanded slightly to the north. Three single rows of spaces will be zoned for Faculty/Staff ONLY. Only university employees and I²C tenants and their employees will be authorized to park in these spaces. A portion of the spaces in the newly zoned Faculty/Staff ONLY zone directly in front of the I²C building will be reserved for I²C VISITORS ONLY. Signs will be placed in front of each of these spaces. No one other than I²C guests will be allowed to park in these spaces. Each of these guests will be issued a special parking permit that must be displayed while occupying one of the I²C Visitor ONLY spaces. Others will be ticketed and towed.

Parking Enforcement staff will be posted at the G-5 lot to assist with educating and directing motorists about the new zones. Individuals who have not paid their parking fees will be turned away and required to park off university property. Please use the map for visual reference and become familiar with the newly designated areas.
