August 14, 2019 Academic Affairs honors two faculty members each year by appointing the faculty members to be the "Commencement Mace Bearers" for the year. The Mace Bearer is a faculty honor and is symbolic of the faculty member's commitment of service to students, to scholarship, and to society. Dr. Don Gregory and Dr. Fan Tseng have served admirably in this role for the past year. It is now time to solicit nominations for the Mace Bearers for 2019-20. The Mace Bearer title will be awarded to faculty members who have exhibited longstanding commitment and service to the University community and in recognition of his or her significant contributions to the mission of the University. Would you please nominate faculty members you feel embody and truly exhibit the true mission and spirit of UAH and the commitment described above.
