The Alumni of Achievement Award is the highest honor bestowed by the UAH Alumni Association. The award recognizes graduates who have distinguished themselves professionally and personally and who exemplify the high standards of UAH. The UAH Alumni Association Board of Directors selects the honorees from open nominations made by alumni, faculty and friends.

"The Alumni Association takes great pride in recognizing some of our most prestigious alumni for their accomplishments," says Senior Director of Alumni Relations Mallie Hale, who is also executive director of the Alumni Association.

"Through the Alumni of Achievement Awards," she says, "we are able to not only honor our alumni for their professional and personal achievements, but also to show the impact a UAH degree can make on the community and the world, the value of hard work and perseverance, and to inspire current and future alumni to aspire to excellence."
