His thesis, Examining the Roles of Fluency and Memory Beliefs in Participants’ Encoding Strategies, Judgments of Learning, and Memory Performance, was directed by Dr. Jodi Price in the Lifelong Learning Lab. He received departmental honors as the Outstanding Graduate student in Psychology. Alan will begin a doctoral program in Cognitive & Brain Sciences at Louisiana State University this fall.
