Mar 08, 2023 | Jenny Russell history political science State Representatives Laura Hall and Andy Whitt met with students this past week to discuss the Alabama legislature and the Alabama Constitution. In addition to the students from PSC 103, students from HY 325/ History of Alabama also attended. Students discussed key issues expected to come up in the 2023 legislative session and efforts to reform Alabama's 1901 Constitution. It was a chance for students to discuss how their lessons are experienced in the state political arena.
